Donna Kay Bryant, age 59, of Louisville, KY, passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2025.
She was born on June 3, 1965, in Louisville, KY, daughter of Michael Ralph Broadbent and Jill Borah Broadbent. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mable and John Borah, and John and Kay Frymire; brother, John Broadbent; and sisters, Jamie and Melissa Miller.
Donna touched the lives of many through her job as a childcare provider. She exemplified unwavering kindness, compassion, and dedication to all of her students. Known for her exceptional ability to always see the best in others, she never spoke a harsh word about anyone. Her heart was filled with an abundant love for those around her, always uplifting and encouraging others with a kind word or a smile. Her positivity and warmth were contagious, and those who knew her were always better for it. Donna was the “best friend you could ever have” and she lived her life with grace, humility, and an unwavering belief in the goodness of people. She was a loving wife, mom, Nana, sister, and friend, and she will be dearly missed by all who came to know her.
She is survived by her husband of 28 years, David Bryant; children, Robert, Danielle, Chris (Amanda), and Nicholas (Taylor); parents, Michael (Dottie) and Jill Broadbent; sister, Sarah Carter; brothers, Todd, Michael, and Scott Broadbent; in-laws, Paul, Charlenea, Pam, and Mark; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held at the Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 12:00 P.M. - 2:00 P.M. with funeral services beginning at 2:00 P.M.
