Here's What The Farmers' Almanac Says About Winter In Kentuckiana This Year...

If you're a snow lover, you might have reason to be excited about this year's winter weather forecast in Kentuckiana, according to The Old Farmers' Almanac.

The Old Farmers' Almanac released details on its 2024-2025 winter weather predictions earlier this week and while much of the United States is predicted to have a fairly mild winter, the words "Cold" and "Snowy" were used to describe the forecast for much of the Ohio Valley region, including Kentuckiana.

The Old Farmers' Almanac expanded on their predictions for the Ohio Valley by saying that the winter will be "colder than normal" especially in late January and early February. As far as the white stuff, they say we could expect "above average snowfall" as well.

Take it all with a grain of salt, though. While The Old Farmers' Almanac claims their predictions are at least 80 percent accurate, studies conducted over the years have shown the forecasts to be far less accurate: around 50 percent at best.
