Here's Where You Can Go For Shelter During This Evening's Storms...

As some are still recovering from the severe storms and now confirmed tornadoes that moved through the area Sunday evening, Kentuckiana is preparing for another round of severe weather moving in Wednesday night.
The National Weather Service in Louisville has Meade and Breckinridge Counties in the "moderate risk" area for severe weather, with the greatest threats being damaging winds and the potential for spin-up tornadoes.
Several locations will be available across the area this evening for storm shelters. We'll have an updated running list of these locations here on this page throughout the day. Bethel Methodist Church Basement - 120 Bethel Church Road, Brandenburg, KY
will open when a severe storm is within 50 miles; Doors will open roughly 1 hour prior to first severe storms approach
Brandenburg Church of God Basement - 1 Howard Drive, Brandenburg, KY
will open beginning at 7pm Eastern (no pets please)
Hillgrove Baptist Church - 55 Ammons Lane, Guston, KY
will open beginning at 7pm Eastern
Payneville Fire Department - 5310 Payneville Road, Payneville, KY
will be open at 7pm Eastern
Vine Grove Fire Department Safe Room - 513 Highland Avenue, Vine Grove, KY
will be open beginning at 7pm Eastern.
Muldraugh Safe Room - 205 S. Main Street, Muldraugh, KY
will open when a tornado warning is issued in the county.
Rock Haven Baptist Church - 4444 Old Mill Road, Brandenburg, KY
will be available. Call Pastor Happy Chandler at 502-295-7591 and he will open the basement.
Raymond Baptist Church - Webster, KY
will be open as a storm shelter.
Buck Grove Baptist Church - Ekron
