Mrs. Lee Page Stivers, age 59, of Louisville, KY, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at Baptist Health Louisville. Lee was born June 16, 1965, the daughter of Robert Lee and Carol Sue Powell Ammons.
Lee was a very gifted and talented interior designer earning her bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia. She was also an outstanding chef, especially when cooking for her family. She adored them so much. Lee was a proud Navy wife for a number of years, supporting her husband. She was a wonderful mother to her children. She adored her granddaughter and always said, Evi, her little love, was the greatest gift that she ever received. Her family will cherish her years as a devoted and loving Lolli, and all the memories they made.
Lee was preceded in death by her parents, and her dear aunt, Betty Powell. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Christopher Todd Stivers; her son, Robert Allen Stivers; her daughter, Margaret Katherine Stivers Delaney and her husband, Glen; her beloved granddaughter, Evelyn Joy Delaney. She also leaves three of her children’s dear friends who loved her like a mother, Eric and Allison Hines, Chris and LaQuanda Powell, and Jason Hilley. She is also survived by three brothers, Robert, Brian, and Chris Ammons; and two sisters, Susan Ammons and Tracy Ammons Smallwood.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Jerry Shacklett officiating. Burial will follow in Buck Grove Cemetery. Buck Grove Baptist Church will be providing a bereavement dinner for family and friends immediately following the burial. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, and from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Wednesday.
