Louis “Wayne” Shaw of Hardinsburg, KY passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2024. Wayne was born August 23, 1953 to the late Willard Shaw and Ana Rae “Mama Shaw” Lucas.
He was a proud U.S. Army veteran who served our country with honor. His loyalty showed through his love for University of Kentucky Athletics. He was a devoted fan of Tony Stewart and loved watching NASCAR. His passion for UK and NASCAR brought him great joy throughout his life.
Wayne is survived by his children, Becky (Scott) Durham of Irvington, Angela Marie (Logan Orion Hogg) Shaw of Pennsylvania and Joshua Ryan (Ericka Ann) of Pennsylvania; his grandchildren, Zach VanMeter, Amelia Luna Rose Hogg, Daemon Loki Orion Hogg, Lucas Shaw and Alonso Chavez; and his great-grandson, Nolan VanMeter.
Visitation will be held Sunday, October 13, 2024 from 3:00 – 6:00 P.M. at Alexander Funeral Home with funeral services following at 6:00 P.M. CDT. Brother David Buckham will officiate.
