Marissa Lauren Mattingly, age 33, of Louisville, KY, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2025 at her residence.
She was born on November 16, 1991, in Elizabethtown, KY, daughter of Bruce Eugene Mattingly and Lorie Denise Curl. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Marvin and Mildred Mattingly.
Marissa was a 2010 graduate of Brandenburg High School, a member of Ekron Baptist Church, and an avid University of Louisville fan. We are grateful for the three blessings she left us.
She is survived by her mother, Lorie Beard (Dooley) Curl of Ekron, KY; father, Bruce (Linda) Mattingly of Upton, KY; children, Gracelynn, Eastlynn, and Raelynn Mattingly; sister, Taylor (Jason Albright) Mattingly; grandparents, Mike and Kathy Beard; fiancé, Michael Gaddis; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held at the Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, from 2:00 P.M.- 6:00 P.M. EDT.
Funeral services will begin at 6:00 P.M. with Pastor Luke Bess officiating. Cremation will follow.
