Mark David Clark

WMMG

Mark “David” Clark, age 60, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown, KY.

He was born on January 20, 1965, in Winter Haven, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy Clark and Larry and Barbara Brashear; two sisters, Sherri Leigh Clark and Marita Haynes; and brother-in-law, Donnie Bishoff.

David, lovingly known by his community as “Super Dave”, was an iconic voice for WMMG for 32 years. He obtained his degree in Broadcasting Communications from Murray State University, proudly served as a combat medic in the Navy and Marines, and was a designer for the 1993 World Wrestling Foundation Basic Adventure Game. He was also a published poet and wrote numerous beautiful pieces. Above all else, Dave was a family man. He cherished his family and he gave his all in every circumstance. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Connie Clark; children, Jamie (Christi) Cundiff, Michael (Lauren Price) Cundiff, and Ashley (Dylan Crowe) Morris; grandchildren, Chase Cundiff, Addie and Aidan Crowe, Hunter Stansbury, Rylan Medley, and Skyler Lowe; siblings, Melena (Barry) Shilts, Mike Clark, and Mary Bishoff; in-laws, Troy (Tammy) Parr, Tammie (Teddy) Smith, Pam (Timmy) Rodgers, and Beverly (Jeremy Brown) Parr; and a host of friends and community members that adored him.

Visitation will be held at the Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 19, from 4-8:00 P.M., Thursday, March 20, from 9:00 A.M.-8:00 P.M., and will continue on Friday from 8:00 A.M. until the time of the service. 

Funeral services will be held from the chapel of the funeral home on Friday, March 21, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. with Bro. Tom Bridge, Bro. Kevin Mills, Bro. Bob Davis, and Bro. Randy Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central.
