On Thursday, February 1, Detectives with the Meade County Sheriff's Office began an investigation into the death of Crystal Fetch of Battletown, according to Sheriff Phillip Wimpee. The investigation is ongoing, but Fetch's partner, Derick Ford, was taken into custody and charged with murder. Ford, 37, of Battletown, was lodged in the Meade County Detention Center.
