Molly Noreen Yates, age 81, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025.
She was born on September 3, 1943 to the late Joseph R. Yates and Lillian Board Yates. Along with her parents, Molly was preceded in death by her sister JoAnne Brown; her niece, DeeDee Ramsey and her nephew, Dale Brown.
Molly was a kind and loving soul whose warmth touched everyone she met. In her younger years, she lovingly cared for her nieces and nephews, showering them with affection. Molly’s bright and outgoing spirit made every moment spent with her unforgettable, and she cherished the time spent celebrating with friends and family. Her birthdays were always a time of joy and love, a true reflection of how special she was. A simple phone call to her close friends would light up her day, and she found comfort in reading the newspaper, particularly The Messenger. Her presence will always be remembered with love and fondness.
She is survived by her niece Cynthia Brown and her nephew Joe Brown; along with her faithful Sunday visitors at Brandenburg Nursing and Rehab, her cousins, Debbie Gossett, Barbara Lowther and Faye Miller, who will miss her dearly.

Visitation will be held at Salem Baptist Church on Monday, March 3, 2025, from 11:00 P.M. - 2:00 P.M. with funeral services beginning at 2:00 P.M. Brother Garry Hicks will officiate. Burial will follow at Cap Anderson Cemetery.
