NOBLE FRANKLIN RICHARDSON, 84, Brandenburg, Kentucky
Noble Franklin Richardson, husband, father and grandfather passed away October 11, 2024, at his family home surrounded by close family.
Noble was born on the family farm in the original Richardson Farmhouse in Brandenburg, Kentucky on January 30, 1940, to Jack Harrington Richarson and Katherine Ruth Thomas. Noble was a 1958 graduate of Meade County High School, where he was a member of the FFA, Chorus, and basketball team. He was on the Class Reunion Committee and enjoyed planning their reunions. Several of the 1958 graduating class have kept in touch, even after all these years. All his life, Noble worked and lived on the family farm.
In 1960, he joined the United States Navy where he served for 4 years as an (EN) Engineman with stations, US Navel Station Pearl Harbor, US Naval Forces Japan, US Fleet Activities Yokosuka, Japan Seventh Fleet, USS Rehoboth AGS-50 (Oceanographic Survey Ship). He served 4 years as an (EN) Engineman and achieved the rank of EN 3rd Class Petty Officer.
On August 10, 1966, Noble was wed to his loving wife Susanne Joyner Richardson at Severns Valley Baptist Church. Together they lived on the Richardson Family Farm in Brandenburg, Kentucky. Noble and Susanne had three children, Stephanie Allison Meredith, Jack Harrington Richardson II, and Kenton Todd Richardson. Noble retired in 2001 from Olin/Arch Chemicals after working 37 years as a Lab Technician.
Noble was a Kentucky Wildcats fan from birth. He also supported the local school of Meade County, even serving as a Band Booster for his children. Noble was also fond of watching Horse Racing, especially the Kentucky Derby. After retirement, Noble could be found watching Perry Mason, the Golden Girls or working a crossword puzzle.
Noble was preceded in death by his parents, Jack Harrington Richardson and Katherine Ruth Thomas and his Father and Mother in Law, Rufus C. Joyner and Mary Sue Bynum Joyner, as well as many Uncles, Aunts and Cousins.
Noble is survived by his wife of 58 years, Susanne Joyner Richardson, three children, Stephanie Allison (Russell) Meredith or Elizabethtown, Kentucky, Jack Harrington Richardson II of Port St. Joe, Florida, and Kenton Todd (Emily) Richardson of Vienna, Illinois, grandchildren, Jordan Elizabeth (Alex) Bennett, Tessa Rae (Jordan) Amburgey, Jack Harrington Richardson III, Noble Alexander Richardson, Avery Evon Richardson, and Keegan Thomas Richardson, Great-grandchildren, Isabella Marie and Ellis Cole Amburgey and Jameson Alexander Bennett, as well as many dear family members and friends.
Visitation will be held at Hager Funeral Home, in Brandenburg, Kentucky, from 4:00PM to 8:00PM on Monday, October 14, 2024. As Noble was a true BBN Fan, please come in your UK gear. Funeral visitation and services will be held at Hager Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, from 9:00AM to 11:00AM, with the service beginning at 11:00AM.
Noble will be laid to rest at Cap Anderson Cemetery following the service, with full military honors.

Noble will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather.
