Randall Lee Swink, age 76, of Hardinsburg, KY, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at Hardinsburg Nursing and Rehab.
He was born on August 26, 1948, son of the late James Louis Swink and Eula Augusta Payne. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Jimmy Swink, Gene Swink, Joe Swink, Johnny Swink, and Louie Swink; and numerous brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws.
Randall was a lifelong farmer and logger and retired from Lowes as a manager after 20 years. He enjoyed deer hunting, eating good food, listening to country music, and watching old westerns. He loved working on his farm and tending to his cattle. He was an avid University of Kentucky and Cincinnati Reds fan, and always dreamed of playing professional baseball. Randy had a massive heart and loved other people, especially kids. He had a great sense of humor and a contagious smile, and if you were around him, you were sure to laugh. Family was the most important thing to him, and he cherished his time with them. He was a dedicated dad, brother, Papaw, and friend, and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his children, Kelly Lee (Darla) Swink, Kevin Dean (Stacy) Swink, and Kristyna Louise Swink; sisters, Joy (Doug) Knott, Linda Brown, and Darlene (Brian) Ziebart; brothers, Rob Swink and Donnie (Mary Jo) Swink; and grandchildren, Deanna Swink and Josh Swink.
Visitation will be held at Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home on Saturday, November 23, 2024, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and will continue on Sunday, November 24, 2024, from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service
