Ms. Sandra Meeks Humphrey, age 70, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Friday, February 28, 2025, at her residence. Sandra was born on November 2, 1954, the daughter of James Robert and Vera Janet (Kellems) Meeks.
Sandra had a kind and gentle heart for people. She was a caretaker by nature, especially when it came to the needs of her family who she was completely dedicated to. She loved watching movies, listening to music, and especially loved to joke and laugh. She was a member of Huntington’s Disease Society of America.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Diane Jupin and Judy Allen. She is survived by two daughters, Cassie (Cody) Stith, and Rebecca (Mike McDaniel) Rains; nine grandchildren, Dwyane, Riley, and Brodie Gibson, Payton and Presley Stith, Jason Humphrey, Emily and Steven Rains, and Chloe McDaniel; two brothers, Steven and Rodney (Janet) Meeks; three sisters, Darlene (Kenny Miller) Taylor, Donna (Karl) Bohannon, and Cindy Greer; the father of her children, Roy Lee Humphrey, Jr.; and numerous cousins, nieces and Nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, Ruby Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Cap Anderson Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Tuesday. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the funeral home to aid the family with expenses.
