Sharon Campbell Shufelt
Born April 3, 1950 to Don and Marilyn Campbell in Washington D.C.
Sharon was a graduate of Woodbridge Senior High School, Kentucky, Wesleyan College with a BA in Education, and Western Kentucky University with a Masters degree in Student Personnel Services.
Her teaching career included the Louisville City School System, Meade County School System, and 30 years of dedicated service to the Fort Knox Community School System. She retired from teaching in 2006. Over the course of her 30+ years as an educator she taught over 1000 children. She received national recognition for the Christa Mcauliffe Scholarship Foundation for her research in "Learning styles across the curriculum".
Sharon loved to sing and was a member of the Heartland Fillies singing group as well as the Radcliff Presbyterian choir. She was an avid bowler and was a member of the "Mystery Bowlers" team in the Young at Heart senior bowling league in Elizabethtown KY.
She was preceded in death by her parents Don and Marilyn, and her daughter Jennifer Prince. She leaves behind her husband David Shufelt (married for 55 years); her 3 younger brothers Gary (Diane) Campbell of Virginia, Ronnie Campbell of Bagdad KY, Jeffery (Kathy) Campbell of Jacksonville Florida; her son Brandon (Brooke) Shufelt of Radcliff; her grandchildren Richard (Katherine) Shufelt of Vine Grove, Jillian Shufelt of Sarasota Florida, Andrew (Marrisa) Shufelt of Radcliff, Anthony (Rachel) Foote of Radcliff, and Suzanne Keller of Elizabethtown; her great-grandchildren Cruze, Lawson, and a player to be named later.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM, Friday, January 3, 2025 at Chism Family Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 6:00 PM, Friday, January 3, 2025 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY.
