Mr. William Stacy Redmon, age 58, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon, IN. Stacy was born August 29, 1966, the son of Jim and Dorothy Turner Redmon.
Stacy served as a longtime member of the Brandenburg and Ekron Fire Departments. He loved the Pittsburgh Steelers, but most importantly adored his boys and grandchildren.
Stacy was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Mark; his aunts, Verna Mae Clarkson and Agnes Lucille Redmon; his uncle, Charles “Tub” Redmon; and numerous maternal aunts and uncles. He is survived by his two sons, Derek (Maygen Williams) Redmon, and Cody (Kimberly Hudson) Redmon; three grandchildren, Kinsey Williams, and Gracie and Kaylii Redmon; his brother, Jimmy (Judy) Redmon, Jr.; his uncle, Stanley (Cindy) Turner; his cousin, Martin Redmon; and numerous other cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 15, 2024, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Deacon Greg Beavin officiating. The family requests that those attending the service wear black, yellow or white to honor Stacy’s love for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Burial will follow in St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Saturday, and from 12:00 noon until the time of service on Sunday. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to WHAS Crusade for Children or to the Meade County Angel Ministry.
